A "screw post extension" is simply a shaft that will screw into the
end of a post in order to extend it a bit. These extensions will work with any
aluminum post that is made to fit through a 1/4" hole. The extension is
made of 100% Aluminum.

The way they are measured is by the length of the barrel (not including the
threaded part).
