Boxed Japanese Sumi-E Ink Stick

You can certainly use these sticks to do traditional Japanese Sumi-E if you choose to. The ink is good quality. However, the new trend is to use them in collage, altered books and as card embellishments. The shape of this stick is actually an oval (not the traditional rectangular shape).

The stick is decorated front and back in metallic gold and copper ink. The stick size is 7/8" W x 3 7/8" H x 3/8" D. This particular stick comes boxed.

The pattern on the stick is of a dragon and phoenix.
