You can certainly use these sticks to do traditional Japanese
Sumi-E if you choose to. The ink is good quality. However, the new trend is
to use them in collage, altered books and as card embellishments.
The stick is decorated on the front metallic gold ink and it
has Japanese characters embossed on the back. The stick size is 5/8" W
x 2 5/8" H x 1/4" D.
