This lovely book by Florence Temko is more than an instructional
book on how to fold Origami cranes. The book does offer tips on which papers
are best to use and has fully illustrated instructions on how to fold the cranes.
However, after that she give the story of Sadako and the Peace Cranes as well
as addresses on where folded Peace Cranes can be sent. She also give a few creative
ideas on what to do with the cranes and more!
Our favorite part of the book is a dramatic picture
of the Hiroshima Memorial covered in folded Peace Cranes- amazing!
The book is in full color and is a 12 pages long. A
few sheets of Origami paper are included to get you started.
